In the Year 2006, Hoysala Academy got affiliated to Kuvempu University for offering BBM Degrees. These degrees were offered in the name of Hoysala College of Management and currently the institution is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka.
In the year 2019, Hoysala College of Management & IT Studies became the First Study Centre of Shivamogga for University of Mysore in Offering Distance Education Programs.
